Frequently Asked Questions

How do I make an appointment?

Call The Center at 717-741-0000.

What will therapy cost?

This answer varies according to the insurance you carry.  It is best to contact your insurance company to learn about copays and deductibles.  The Center also accepts private pay without going through insurance.  We apologize that we do not take Medical Assistance.

What are your hours?

This varies by therapist; most therapists see clients during the day and have some evening hours.

How many sessions will I need?

This is individual from one person to another; "typical" treatment can take up to a year.

Where are you located?

2201 East Market Street in York

What does confidentiality mean?

Confidentiality is a term used in therapy to refer to keeping what is discussed and completed in therapy between you or your child (the client) and the therapist.  Within therapy, there are limits to confidentiality that pertain to safety of the client and others.  Please discuss limits to confidentiality with your therapist, as well as how privacy with a child under the age of fourteen is maintained while also keeping parents and caregivers involved in therapy.
